Joel Shinofield is the Managing Director of Sport Development at USA Swimming, and is currently leading the two largest projects for organization-wide improvement in USA Swimming’s history. Previously, Joel served as Head Coach, Director of Aquatics and Associate Professor at Washington and Lee University, held leadership positions with Minnesota Swimming, Inc, and began his career in the non-profit industry as Program Director at Youth Trust, Minneapolis.
